4th of July Celebration!

"I felt the need to write a letter of thanks to the staff of Alpena for the care my grandmother received while she was a resident there. Having to make the decision to put our grandmother in a nursing home was a difficult but necessary one. The fact that she was in the right place was evident each time I visited her. My husband and I have had the nursing home experience with three of our grandparents, and our experience at Medilodge was the best by far. It was always clean there, always tidy and it was evident that the staff clearly cared for the people who lived there."

Originally I chose it for Carl because of the location; the best decision we made! We received such great physical therapy and occupational therapy here. I try not to have favorites but Jess was both of ours. She was always ready to answer every question we had. There are so many wonderful people working here. This time it was like visiting family. If we had anything else to share about our experience at MediLodge of Alpena we'd say if you have to be away from home for therapy, this is a wonderful place to have it. Except for the pain in therapy, it's like a hotel, but with a lot of pampering. Our stay was the next best thing to home, a nice vacation for me. Thank you all so much!

The reason I chose this center is that it's close to home. If only all nurses in the world were like Jess, we'd all be so much better. She is amazing!

I have always received great care here. Everyone is very nice and friendly. I enjoyed the flowers in the garden.

"Jennie and I saw Margie regularly and our impression of the concern and care for Margie and the courtesy and extra effort extended to us was outstanding. The provision that Margie was allowed to keep her cat Misty as her constant companion was only one example of extraordinary sensitivity and compassion."

Everybody was kind and caring! Jess from MediLodge of Alpena was very friendly and helpful. Marci was very caring as well as all the CNA's on A Wing.

"I enjoy activities like bowling down the hallway. I used to be on a bowling league years ago. I had a strike my first try and was the overall winner!"

The friendliness of the nursing staff was great, always right there. The therapy staff was great. I was very satisfied.

Everyone here was wonderful, and it was fun here! The center was very clean, pleasant people and good food! There were many friendly faces and smiles.
